The Philippines reaffirmed its commitment to global tourism and investment at MIPIM 2025 (Le Marché International des Professionnels de l’Immobilier) – The Global Urban Festival, held from March 11-14 at the Palais des Festivals de Cannes, France.

Bringing the message that the Philippines is open for tourism investments, the delegation featured representatives from the Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA), the Department of Tourism (DOT), and the Philippine Reclamation Authority (PRA).

Presenting “Limitless Opportunities in Tourism Investment,” the Philippine team highlighted the country’s strategic assets and emerging prospects for global investors such as TIEZA Assets and Flagship Tourism Enterprise Zones (FTEZ) and the Philippine International Exhibition Center (PIEC).

The TIEZA delegation was headed by TIEZA Assistant Chief Operating Officer Atty Karen Mae G. Sarinas-Baydo, alongside TIEZA officials Ms. Janeth Christine Ocampo, Business Development Department Manager; and Mr. Donald Maldonaldo, Evaluation and Regulation Department Manager.

Other notable delegates were Department of Tourism (DOT) Assistant Secretary Sharlene Zabala-Batin and Tourism Officer Gregorio Limpin, and Board Director Renato Esmale, Assistant General Managers Joselito Gonzales and Karen Villamil from the Philippine Reclamation Authority (PRA).

MIPIM, an annual real estate event, gathers over 20,000 delegates and 2,500 exhibitors from 90 countries, providing a global platform for business leaders, real estate and tourism stakeholders, and government representatives to discuss development opportunities, build networks, and explore new avenues for trade and investment.
