g of Partnership Agreements for the registration of three (3) new Tourism Enterprises, namely: Lazuli, a new beach resort located inside the San Vicente Flagship Tourism Enterprise Zone (TEZ) in Palawan; Kabote Beach Resort, also located in the San Vicente Flagship TEZ; and Signature Suites, located in Boracay, Aklan.

Lazuli is a new accommodation establishment located at the beachfront area of Brgy. Alimanguan within the San Vicente Flagship TEZ. Set to open before the year ends, the resort has 12 rooms, a restaurant, and a swimming pool. This newly-registered tourism enterprise is operated by the Lazuli Resort Corporation. Also located in the San Vicente Flaghship TEZ but in New Agutaya, is the three-storey Kabote Beach Resort, another accommodation establishment that offers 27 rooms, a bar and restaurant, and a swimming pool. It is operated by the resort’s sole proprietor Ms. Metelynn Howie.  The Signature Suites is the exclusive wing of the Discovery Shores Resort in Boracay Island, operated by Discovery World Corporation (DWC) that features 11 high-ceilinged luxurious suites.

The newly registered Tourism Enterprises (RTEs) will provide more grounds for tourism development through the investment opportunities offered and the generation of employment especially to the locals in the area. The RTEs will further represent and promote the beauty of the Philippines through the incorporation of the Philippine culture in architectural design and products. Kabote Beach, for example, aims to promote the culture of San Vicente by prioritizing the hiring of locals and natives of the area as well retaining the cultural aspects through building partnership with local farmers and fishermen, and participation of cultural related activities through the promotion of local cuisines and local products. Lazuli will also feature native architecture and local harbor to promote the natural beauty of the Philippines. These will not only introduce the strong foundation of Philippine culture in different aspects to foreign tourists, but will ultimately strengthen and bring the community together.
