Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA) showcased its role in advancing urban planning and infrastructure development at the Chamber of Real Estate & Builders’ Assoc., Inc. (CREBA) Annual National Convention from October 16 to 18, 2024 at the Grand Ballroom of Hilton Clark Sun Valley Resort in celebration of National Housing Month.
CREBA is the Philippines’ largest association of professionals and stakeholders in the real estate industry, where they come from the various sub sectors of building and construction, urban planning, marketing, supplies, real estate development and other related initiatives aligned with the government’s vision of “A Home for Every Filipino”.
The premier event gathered investors, property delegates and speakers from different agencies, invited to connect and share their comprehensive insights on issues currently faced by the property sector in the midst of public and private sector collaboration in advance real estate development and housing landscape.
Ms. Lahren Lee M. Caranay, Enterprises Services Chief of TIEZA’s Incentives Administration Division, presented TIEZA’s role in promoting tourism investments and highlighted investment opportunities that support sustainable local economic growth. She emphasized TIEZA’s ongoing infrastructure projects, which drive community development, job creation, and regional economic growth.
She further cited TIEZA’s Flagship Tourism Enterprise Zones (FTEZs) in Palawan, Bataan, Cavite, Manila, and Bohol, along with upcoming projects like the Balacad Integrated Complex, Balicasag Island Dive Resort expansion, and Boracay’s first medical and wellness facility. She encouraged stakeholders to collaborate with TIEZA and register under the CREATE Act to avail of tax incentives for their enterprises.
